In the Next 5 Minutes, i will be Showing you; what is Blood Sugar, Causes of High Blood Sugar, how to Prevent High Blood sugar, the Stability and The Natural Remedy for the control.

 What's Blood Sugar ?

I Know this not your first time of hearing Blood sugar or Glucose. The end products of all Carbohydrates food is Glucose after it has been broken down. The Major functions is to Provides energy for our day to day activities.

Some other food components can also be converted to glucose, meaning that glucose doesn’t come only from carbohydrates food.

Just like a conductor in a bus that controls the inflow of passengers, so also is the work of an insulin. Insulin controls the rate at which glucose is being produced, processed and being used in the body system.

Imagine, a situation where this is no conductor in a bus, so also, if an insulin is low or absent in the body.

The pancreas is an organ behind the stomach that is the main source of insulin in the body. Clusters of cells in the pancreas called islets produce the hormone and determine the amount based on blood glucose levels in the body.

The higher the level of glucose, the more insulin goes into production to balance sugar levels in the blood.

Causes of High Blood Sugar

High blood sugar also generally known as diabetes is majorly caused if insulin is low in the blood stream or the organ that produced insulin is being damaged or not fully functioning.

Reason why you see people receiving insulin injection, just to make insulin available in the blood stream.

In addition, causes of High Blood sugar varies depending on type and individual.

Type 1 Diabetes : When the immune system attacks the islets, and they cease to produce insulin or do not produce enough. When this occurs, blood glucose stays in the blood and cells cannot absorb them to convert the sugars into energy.

Type 2 Diabetes : Here, the insulin is available, but it cannot perform its functions, especially those who are overweight, obese, or inactive, insulin is not effective in transporting glucose into the cells and unable to fulfill its actions. The inability of insulin to exert its effect on tissues is called insulin resistance.

Gestational diabetes is due to insulin-blocking hormones produced during pregnancy. This type of diabetes only occurs during pregnancy
